Ant and the dove story moral

Once upon a time there lived a dove with his family in the dense forest. It feels thirsty. He went to a nearby stream to drink water. At that time the dove saw an ant fall into that stream. The Ant struggled in vain to reach the bank, and in pity, the dove dropped a dry leaf close beside it. Climbing to the leaf like a shipwrecked sailor to a broken spar, the ant floated safely to shore.

Some times after, the ant saw a man getting ready to kill the dove with his arrow. But just as he cast the arrow, the ant stung him in the heel, so that the pain made him miss his arrow, and the startled dove flew away to nearby jungle.

Moral: Kindness is never wasted.
